To begin with, CIS 105 has proven to be an outstanding course. I thoroughly enjoyed diving into new technologies and mastering how to effectively manage and leverage them to my advantage. Technology is essential in contemporary society, acting as a powerful tool for the entire community. When utilized properly, technology fosters positive communication and engagement, driving us forward. For example, in developing my website, I took the initiative to create a meaningful and uplifting experience for my audience. Technology has played a pivotal role in the evolution of our community by keeping us informed about emerging trends and the current state of our ecosystem. When applied wisely, it has the power to unite us, enabling everyone to thrive and excel in our daily endeavors. I was also pleased to gain hands-on experience with applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Access. Furthermore, I developed a strong understanding of essential technological terminology, including Database Management Systems (DBMS), hashing, blockchain, tokenization, encryption, authentication, and much more. The advancements in technology have empowered our community, not just through the use of computers, but by providing instant access to information right in the palms of our hands via smartphones.
